Today we went to the Auckland Botanic Gardens first time for us.
The drought conditions are really taking a toll, however I managed to practice depth of field and shutter speed on the few roses and a small waterfall we found.
Enjoy
f/5 ISO100 71mm 1/640s Low depth of field and a slight under exposure darkens the background giving the rose the pride of place
ISO 125 103mm f/5.6 1/200s
Taken in AV Apeture mode. Controlling the aperture or f stop creates a low depth of field and blurring in the background
ISO 100 100mm f/36 1/6s
Taken in TV Shutter speed mode. Decreasing the shutter speed slows down the water and gives the silky effect
